ABOUT US

We have lived, worked and played in the Marquette area since the late 80's and we are both graduates of Northern Michigan University located here in town. Christie is a Middle School Teacher (and boat captain!) and Jamie works in the medical device industry in sales management and training. We both grew up boating and have owned dozens of different boats throughout our lives, but ITLL DO is the best yet! We also own and operate two AirBnb rentals in the area and we are passionate about sharing the beauty of the U.P. with visitors. Feel free to shoot us a text with any questions! Certifications

OUPV (6-Pack) Captain's license

The OUPV (Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels), commonly known as the "6-Pack" license, allows a person to operate uninspected vessels up to 100 gross tons and carry up to 6 paying passengers. It is the standard USCG credential for charter fishing, diving, and sightseeing tours.

State of Michigan DNR inspected Vessel

Commercial passenger vessels must pass regular DNR inspections to obtain an annual Certificate of Inspection (COI).

Drydock Inspection: Required at least once every 5 years (or as deemed necessary) to examine the hull, propulsion, and steering.
Dockside Inspection: Conducted annually to evaluate safety gear, fire extinguishers, personal flotation devices (PFDs), navigation lights, and electrical systems.
